So, you'd like to register with the coolest new source for tabletop RPG content in existence? Good call. Registration is free and allows you a couple advantages if you are a player. It is also required if you want to sign up as a GM for a particular campaign, and thus have access to the GM-only info, or if you want to contribute content to the site. First off, it allows you the option of receiving the Eruvian.com Newsletter, a periodic email notifying you of any major events related to Eruvian.com. For example, it will give you an overview of any new and important features recently added to the site. If you're going to take the trouble to register, you'll probably want to leave that little box next to Eruvian.com Newsletter checked. =) Secondly, sometime soon you'll be able to sign up for Setting Newsletters. These will give you periodic updates about the specific setting that you're signed up for, whether your a player or a GM. Of course, GMs should receive these so their players don't get ahead of them! Speaking of spam, you should know that we here at Eruvian.com protect our members' email and privacy as we do our own. And man, we hate spam. There's nothing worse then to set up a nice, clean email address and start getting junk in it. Well, we'd never do that to you. So, if you're like some of us at Eruvian and have a "real" email address and a different one that you use to sign up for crazy stuff on the 'Net, feel free to use the real one. ;) For those of you that would like to check out the legalese version of the Eruvian.com privacy promise, feel free to read our privacy policy. |
